Alison Taylor, the eye behind the fairly-traded Sula label has an eye for exquisite colour and presents an original palette which is specially dyed and exclusive to Sula. Sula clothes are made in fine Vietnamese silks - organza, silk chiffon and silk velvet and are fluid, bias-cut designs intended to be worn in layers which encircle and flatter the body.
Sula clothes often feature pin-tucking, smocking, raw edges, back ties, fine spaghetti straps and soft corset-style lacing and appeals to women who appreciate distinctive clothing which they can 'make their own'. Sula values the beauty of hand-crafted embroidery and finishing and employes a family run workshop in Vietnam to finish every collection.
