I have a favourite dress. It's pretty simple but one that I love for the ease in which I can throw it on on a hot day and feel dressed in a second. It's always with me on trips partly because it always looks good and dosen't mind being scrunched into a bag at the last minute. On a recent visit to Kenya I met a wonderfully charismatic gentleman who happened to own a small tailoring business in the local village. His studio is heaving with textiles, garments in varying stages of life hang from the ceiling and down the walls and there's a constant whirring from the machines. Dear Friends and Customers far and wide, I've just been reflecting on what an amazing year it's been for Julia and I. When we opened our shop doors on Lewes High Street, over 20 years ago, we never dreamt we'd still be here, albeit online, with those same loyal customers who've been with us from those early days. I know it's been a tough year for many so the fact that you continue to support us really means so much to mum and I.
