These exquisite paper flowers are handmade in our Sussex studio by Julia Smith, one half of the FLINT team. Julia has a background in floristry and has had many years experience in working for special events and weddings and her love of flowers is evident in the meticulous crafting of these paper representations. Each flower is carefully formed using crepe paper which she often dyes herself using botanical inks or watercolours. Particular markings or finishing touches are often painted on to the paper, once the flower is finished. We love to place them in our little glass vases which make sweet, everlasting gifts.
This summer, we shall be holding a couple of workshops at some beautiful venues in Sussex. For more info, see our Blog Post.
